unfailingly always sexy.

Luke LaLonde of Born Ruffians does “Burning Down the House”

oh hey there freshmen year bard film professor in the credits for Who Took The Bomp? On Tour.
somehow I am not really surprised to see him there. bard professors show up at the weirdest times. a theatre prof is listed as the first thank you on the Talking Heads Stop Making Sense first vinyl pressing. they are everywhere.

Now I know you can’t read what that says, but what I am about to tell you is completely true.
That is part of the sleeve for my newly acquired Stop Making Sense Talking Heads LP. I was reading it this morning, while listening to the records (which sounds amazing) and low and behold under the ‘special thanks’ section is a name I know. The first name right of the bat is Joanne Akalitis, the Bard Theatre Dept. head herself. WHAT IN THE WORLD!? I know her! I have worked with her! She likes my organization skills and my hair color! And she worked with David Byrne!

Pardon me while I freak out in a corner.
